Shared and social values

ESCOM shared and cultural values conference

The next ESCOM conference, on April 24, 2017, will be titled “It’s not all about commodification! – Understanding and assessing shared and cultural values of ecosystem services”. ESCOM is a network that aims to support collaboration between science, policy and practice to better manage Scotland’s natural resources. Through a mixture of talks, workshops and creative sessions we will explore what has worked in practice, and how shared and cultural values can support ecosystem management. Keynote speakers include Jasper Kenter (SAMS), Neville Makan (SNH), Peter Philips (CEP) and Katja Schmidt (Potsdam University). Session, flashtalk and poster deadline is the 10th April 2017, you will be notified by the 17th.
